This week one of the things on my to-do list was to visit either the Picasso Museum or Park Güell. I’ve heard from many people and from my own personal research that both parks have a fabulous view of the city and have quite a bit of history behind them.

Although a lot of walking to and around the park it was definitely worth it. Of all the different locations to walk around at the Park, the main terrace was my favorite. The bench stretches around the entire terrace and has a covered with Gaudi’s mosaic-style art. The bench has the perfect arch and is very comfortable considering it’s stone. The view of the rest of the park and of the city is amazing! Something I will ever forget doing, something that pictures can’t do justice. There are also vendors around selling earrings, necklaces, magnets and other souvenirs. I would advise using the bathroom before walking up to the terrace and through the rest of the park, I don’t recall seeing another bathroom. Park Güell is definitely on my list of things for someone visiting Barcelona to see.
