Arcadi Poch Kognitif designed and curated a Ciutat Bella mural project in 2014. The literal translation of “Ciutat Bella” is “City Beautiful.”

The artist Sixe Paredes, who has created this street art as his tribute to the artist Joan Miró, was the first to participate in this initiative. His mural can be found at 88 on the dividing wall at Sant Pau and Riereta streets in the Raval district. He began creating it in July 2014 as part of the artistic and social mural project that aimed to showcase Barcelona’s artistic and cultural potential as well as its constant evolution and transformation. It also sought to promote coexistence and civic values through artistic action.
