What was your favorite place to eat in Barcelona? Favorite food?

My favorite places to eat are: La Mestressa – Plaça d’Osca, 7 – Modern tapas La Esquinica – Passeig de Fabra i Puig, 296 – Traditional tapas Mito – Av. de Sarrià, 17 – Japonese

What is you favorite place in Catalunya? Why?

I really like Cadaqués, the town where Dalí lived. It’s a beautiful sea side town!

Is there a site in Barcelona that you would recommend to future students that may be a little more “off the beaten path”?

Although is really closed to the city center I love walking down Enrique Granados Street. Another cool place, and outside the beaten path would be Plaça Orfila, at Sant Andreu district.

If you had one perfect day in Barcelona where would you go, and what would you do?

I would wake up, have a ‘Café con leche’ with a pastry in any sunny terrace around the city. Then I would walk around, up and down Passeig de Gràcia and Rambla Catalunya. I would continue walking until I got lost and discovered places I’ve never been before. Before sunset, I would like to go to the the Church at Tibidabo, go up until their terrace and see the city from above.

What do you think makes Barcelona unique?

The people, the architecture, the beach, etc.
