Moving

Explain why you chose those words.

Because it has moved every part of my life, from the way I think to the way I see others. It has moved me emotionally and educationally forward and I feel that I am a better person after my time here.

What was your favorite tour, day trip, or cultural activity? Why?

Cava tasting and Calcotada. Eventhough I don’t like Cava, the people at Freixenet were very helpful and offered me an alternative. The lunch afterwards was honestly the best lunch I’ve ever had. I would have never experienced such a fun Catalan tradition on my own and I throughly enjoyed myself.

Is there a site in Barcelona that you would recommend to future students that may be a little more “off the beaten path”?

The Hospital de San Pau

What is one piece of advice that you have for future students coming to Barcelona?

Go on the Morocco trip and pack light. Activity seek out new things to try and actually do them.

Why was Barcelona SAE the right program for you?

Because it had the perfect amount of hands-on experience and help. I felt like I had enough time to explore but I always had support if I needed it from my mentor and every so often a cultural activity. I also loved the weekend trips the program hosted because I knew that I was going to get as deep in the culture as I could and trusted the itinerary to be wonderful.
