If you were to sum up your Barcelona experience in one to two words, what would you say? My Barcelona Experience is…

Life Changing

Explain why you chose those words.

Seeing the city, experiencing the culture and meeting new people completely changed my perspective on the world and myself. It was an overall great experience.

What was your favorite place to eat in Barcelona? Favorite food?

No specific favorite place but I loved small local cafes – and my favorite food was hamburgers with eggs!

What was your favorite tour, day trip, or cultural activity? Why?

The castellers cultural activity was amazing. Watching the human towers was an exciting experience because it’s so different than anything ever I’ve seen before.

Is there a site in Barcelona that you would recommend to future students that may be a little more “off the beaten path”?

The Gracía neighborhood!

If you had one perfect day in Barcelona where would you go, and what would you do?

I would just explore the different neighborhoods, get lost, and see what I could find.

What was something you were surprised to learn about Barcelona or Spain? Or what aspect of the country or city were you least expecting?

I was surprised about how much Catalan culture there was. I wasn’t expecting Barcelona to be such a big city with different people.

What is one piece of advice that you have for future students coming to Barcelona?

Try to emerge yourself in the culture and meet as many locals as you can!

Why was Barcelona SAE the right program for you?

Barcelona SAE was a great program because they were very well organized and ready to help whenever needed.
