Tara is from Bellevue College, and studied abroad through a Customized Program during Fall 2015.
What are you up to these days? Have you graduated? Are you working? How did your experience in Barcelona have an impact on your life?
I will be starting my second quarter of my second year and have started working again. My experience in Barcelona has made me more aware of the things and people around me. I have a clearer idea of what I want out of my life and the quality of my life after Barcelona as well.

Life changing
Explain why you chose those words.
No one leaves a trip like this one the same person as they were when they arrived. You experience people and places that you will never see at home and it puts you in situations that are so uncomfortable that you come out of feeling much more confident
What was your favorite tour, day trip, or cultural activity? Why?
My favorite was when we went to the war ruins outside of Zaragoza. It was such a wonderful experience to see the beauty that once was but also to have feelings of sadness. It really was an amazing experience!
What is one piece of advice that you have for future students coming to Barcelona?
I recommend Alpha Espai & UGOWEGO Tours.
Why was Barcelona SAE the right program for you?
The program provided plenty of opportunities for us to travel around Spain and try new foods and meet new people. It allowed us to get out of that bubble when sometimes we can find it difficult to do it on our own.
