The TODOS (The Outcomes-Based Diversity Outreach Strategy) MSI Scholarship is focused on removing the barriers that often keep underrepresented groups, specifically from MSI’s, from studying or interning abroad.
This group includes, but is not limited to students with diverse race, ethnicity, sex, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, age, or veteran status.
Please note this scholarship is only open to those attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCU’s), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI’s), and Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISI’s).
You may apply for the TODOS MSI Scholarship at any time during the admission process but you must apply before the scholarship deadline, even if you have not yet received a decision on your application for admission.
Scholarship Amount:
- $1000 for Semester Study Abroad Participants
- $750 for In-Person Internship Participants
- $350 for Summer/January Term Study Abroad Participants
- $250 for Faculty-Led or Customized Programs Study Abroad Participants (8 Weeks or Less)
Number of Awards:
- 1 Per Semester Study
- 1 Per Internship
- 1 Per Summer Study
- 1 Per Faculty-Led or Customized Program
Eligibility:
- Applicants must intend to participate in a Barcelona SAE semester/summer study or internship program of at least 4 weeks in length.
- Applicants must have completed a Barcelona SAE application and paid the application fee in order to be eligible.
- Applicants must be an undergraduate student in good standing at an accredited institution of higher education in the United States and have at least a 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 GPA Scale) during the time of application.
- Applicants must be currently attending one of the following: Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCU’s), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI’s), or Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institutions (AANAPISI’s).
- Applicants must show proof of financial need by submitting Barcelona SAE’s Financial Aid Form, which is to be completed by a financial aid officer at your home institution.

Disbursement:
- Awardee must pay the non-refundable application fee.
- The TODOS MSI (Minority Serving Institution) Scholarship will be deducted from the final invoice.
- Students are subject to all Barcelona SAE refund and program cost policies.
Deadline:
- Spring/January Term Programs: November 1st
- Summer Programs: April 1st
- Fall Programs: July 15th
