Barcelona SAE | Internship Commitment Guidelines

The intern will treat the internship as you would any job – with respect and professionalism.
The intern will complete the expected hours per week.
The intern will approach the experience with an open mind – everything from time, to communication, feedback could be approached differently than what you are used to.
The intern will work towards real results that are useful to the company.
The intern will show up on time to work and meetings.
The intern will be able to work both independently and in groups as needed.
The intern will show initiative.
The intern will comply with all arrangements negotiated for the placement and do everything necessary to make the placement a success.
The intern will abide by the rules and regulations of the company, the agreed-upon schedule, code of conduct, and rules of confidentiality.
The intern will communicate with the onsite staff about any problems regarding the placement.

The supervisor will determine clear internship tasks & expectations for the student prior to the start date.
The supervisor will provide the student with an introduction to the company and colleagues on the first day of the internship.
The supervisor will integrate the student within the organization’s team and company culture.
The supervisor will check in regularly with the student throughout the term of their internship. (Please note that regular huddles with the student would be much appreciated!)
The supervisor will task the student with a variety of projects according to the needs of the organization.
The supervisor will create clear and results-oriented goals.
The supervisor will dedicate time to a final meeting / evaluation of progress with the student.
The supervisor will provide a Letter of Recommendation for students that satisfactorily complete the program.
